Quick Actions

These are very fast actions that take a character less than half a round. They are performed before main actions. They cannot directly affect other combatants (except in special cases). â€‹â€‹

  1. Movement

  2. Interaction

  3. Defense

Main Actions

These are longer actions that take a character more than half a round. They are performed after quick actions. A character can perform a quick action in place of a main action. 

Bonus Actions

These are actions that can be taken during either Quick or Main Action. A character can perform one of them during each phase. Any additional use must be a Quick or Main Action. 

Reactions

These are actions that can be performed at any time, even during the enemy's turn. However, in order to perform them, the right trigger must occur.

  3. Attack of Opportunity
