
Status effects are temporary conditions that can either help or hinder a character during play. These effects may provide bonuses, impose penalties, or alter how a character interacts with the world or combat.
Dazed
Your awareness is dulled and you act slowly.
You can only perform one Quick Action during your turn.
Exhausted
Your body is pushed beyond its limits.
You have Disadvantage on all Attribute Checks and Attack Rolls.
You cannot gain Advantage through any means.
Long Rest removes this condition.
Stunned
You are disoriented and unable to act freely.
You can only perform Quick Actions.
You cannot take Reactions.
Blinded
You cannot see your surroundings.
All terrain is treated as Difficult Terrain.
You have Disadvantage on Attack Rolls and cannot attack outside melee range.
You cannot use Precise Strike.
Attack Rolls against you have Advantage.
Entangled
You are trapped or restrained by physical or magical forces.
You cannot move.
Attacks against you have Advantage.
Fatigued
You are physically and mentally worn down.
You have Disadvantage on all Action Rolls (not Attack Rolls).
If you become Fatigued again, it escalates to Exhausted.
Both Short and Long Rest removes this condition.
Healed Out
Your life energy has recently been restored and needs time to stabilize.
You have resistance to healing (you regain only half HP from healing effects).
Further healing while this condition is active escalates it to Vital Lock.
Healing from Short or Long Rest is unaffected.
This condition ends when you finish a Short or Long Rest.
Prone
You are knocked down and vulnerable.
You are Slowed.
You have Disadvantage on Attack Rolls.
Melee attacks against you have Advantage.
Ranged attacks against you have Disadvantage.
Slowed
Your movement is impaired and reactions dulled.
Your movement speed is halved.
You cannot perform Dodge Reactions.
Staggered
You have Disadvantage on Attack Rolls.
You cannot perform Block Reactions.
Vital Lock
Your life force is sealed and cannot be restored.
You are immune to all healing effects, including Aura Techniques, potions, regeneration, and healing during rest.
Healing from Short or Long Rest is unaffected.
This condition ends when you finish a Long Rest.
