You raise a barrier of ice to deflect incoming attacks. 

• When you are hit, you may use this Technique to increase the die size used in your Block Reaction. Use the following die size progression: d4 → d6 → d8.

   

• If the damage still exceeds your Damage Reduction, the shield shatters. When this happens, if the attacker is within 4 meters, they take 1 cold damage.

   

Because this Technique requires fast, precise aura control, it uses up your Concentration.
