Every attack deals a specific Damage Type.

Physical Damage Types

Energy Damage Types

Damage Resistance

When a creature or an object has Resistance to a Damage Type, halve the damage dealt by attacks of that type, rounding down (minimum 1 damage).

Damage Resistance does not stack. If multiple effects would grant Resistance to the same Damage Type, apply it only once.

Damage Vulnerability

A creature or an object with Vulnerability to a Damage Type takes double damage from attacks of that type.

Damage Vulnerability does not stack. If multiple effects would cause a creature to be Vulnerable to the same Damage Type, the damage is still only doubled.

Resistance and Vulnerability cancel each other out. If a creature has both Resistance and Vulnerability to the same Damage Type, it takes damage normally.

Damage Immunity

When a creature or an object  has Immunity to a Damage Type, it takes no damage of that type.

If an attack deals multiple Damage Types, only the immune portion is ignored.
