Shield Combat

You enhance your control over the shield in combat. You gain the following benefits:

Sustained Guard

After you perform a Block Reaction against the first attack, you reduce the damage from each subsequent attack by 1 until the start of your next turn.

Shield Deflect

If your shield has the Deflect property, you reduce damage by 1d4 + 3 instead of the usual 3 during a Block Reaction. This stacks with the following Talents:

Parry
Deflect Projectiles

When stacked, the damage reduction die increases according to the following progression: d4 → d6 → d8.

Requirements:

Prestige: 1

Agility: +1

Prestige: 5

Strength: +3

Agility: +2

Level Effect:

You reduce the damage from each subsequent attack by 1
