You separate your consciousness from your body, projecting your spirit into the Astral Plane.

Your body falls into a deep trance and becomes Unconscious, but remains alive and aware of any damage it suffers. While projected, your spirit may travel freely at great speed, passing through creatures, objects, and terrain as though they were not there.

While in astral form:

You are Invisible and Intangible to creatures that cannot perceive spirits or astral entities.
You cannot attack, manipulate objects, cast Aura Techniques, or directly affect the physical world.
You can see and hear the physical world normally.
You can perceive magical effects, active Aura Techniques, portals, spirits, and similar supernatural phenomena, even if they would normally be hidden.
You may travel any distance on the same world.
You may communicate with other astral beings and creatures capable of perceiving spirits.

At any time, you may end the Technique and instantly return to your body.

If your body dies, your astral form immediately dissipates and you die.

If your astral form is destroyed, banished, captured, or otherwise prevented from returning to your body, your body remains alive but unconscious until the effect is ended or reversed.

Powerful supernatural beings, spirits, deities, artifacts, and certain locations may perceive, interact with, harm, or even imprison an astral traveler.

An astral traveler leaves behind a faint silver tether connecting spirit and body. Most creatures cannot perceive this tether, but those capable of doing so may follow it back to its source.
