You can use this maneuver in one of two ways (you can’t use both on the same attack):

• Before the Attack Roll — ignore Disadvantage from an obscured line of sight for this attack.

   

• After the Attack Roll — If you miss the target you can reroll the attack against a different target within 8m of the original. The new target can’t be closer to you than the original.
